Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Information

If you know of a former Flushing athlete, teacher, staff member, coach, or community member who you feel has made significant contributions to Flushing High School athletics, you are invited to nominate that person to the Flushing High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The athletic department will accept nominations for induction into the Hall of Fame through October 1st of each year.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

The Nominee must have exemplified, during and following his/her high school career, the pride and spirit that is Flushing High School and:

  1. ATHLETE or TEAM: will be eligible for nomination into the Athletic Hall of Fame ten (10) years after graduation from Flushing High School and athletes must have earned a minimum of two (2) varsity letters in one (1) sport or one (1) letter in two different sports while an athlete at Flushing High School.
  2. COACH: the candidate must have coached at Flushing High School for at least ten (10) years.
  3. DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD (D.S.A.): The candidate must be a member of the community (and not categorized above) who has made significant contributions to Flushing High School athletics
